• 1. Clean any debris found on the microphone by using a dry cloth or brush
  2. Clean the tip of the hearing aid that goes inside your ear with a dry cloth
  3. Remove the dome from your hearing aid to see if there is any wax plugging your wax guard
  4. Change your wax guard if needed
  5. Check your receiver/wire to see if it has any kinks or twists (This can lead to your hearing aid not working).

• 1. Remove: Open the battery drawer and remove the battery.
  2. Uncover: Remove the sticky label from the + side of the new battery.
  3. Insert: Insert the new battery into the drawer. Make sure the + side is up.
  4. Close: Close the battery drawer. The instrument will play a jingle through the ear piece. Hold the device close to your ear to hear the jingle.
• Tip: the MultiTool can be used to change the battery. Use the magnetic end to remove and insert the batteries.

• 1. Hold on to the speaker and then pull off the earpiece.
  2. Insert the speaker exactly into the middle of the earpiece to obtain a firm attachment.
  3. Push firmly to ensure that the earpiece is fastened securely.

• 1. Removal step 1: Remove the tool from the shell. The tool has two pins, one empty for removal and one with the new wax filter.
  2. Removal step 2: Remove - Push the empty pin into the wax filter in the speaker and pull it out.
  3. Removal step 3: Insert - Insert the new wax filter using the other pin, remove the tool and throw it out.
  4. Insert step 1: Hold onto the speaker and then pull off the earpiece.
  5. Insert step 2: Insert the speaker exactly into the middle of the earpiece to obtain a firm attachment.
  6. Insert step 3: Push firmly to ensure that the earpiece is fastened securely.

• 1. Clean the microphone ports using the brush provided by your hearing healthcare professional to clear away built up wax. Hold the device facing downward so any loose particles will fall out of the hearing aid instead of staying lodged inside.
  2. Change the wax guard if needed.
  3. Finish by wiping the entire device with a dry cloth or tissue. This will remove debris from the case of the hearing aid.

• 1. Remove: Fully open the battery drawer. Remove the battery.
  2. Uncover: Remove the sticky label from the + side of the new battery. (Wait 2 minutes so that the battery can draw air, to make sure it will function optimally.)
  3. Insert: Insert the new battery into the drawer. Make sure the + side faces the + side of the battery drawer.

• Note: Washing your tube and earmold is only necessary if it is plugged with wax or debris. When the tubes start to harden you should bring them to your local office to have them replaced.
• 1. Examine the device for debris and remove it with a soft brush or a dry cloth.
  2. Remove the earmold from the hook to clean it. Some earmolds, especially those made from soft materials, can become discolored and stain over time. Soaking them in warm, soapy water once each week will help. Allow the molds to dry completely overnight before use, and do not use alcohol or other chemicals on them
  3. Use a bulb blower to force water out of the tubing and then allow it to dry overnight.
  4. The tubing in the earmold should be replaced when it becomes yellow or stiff. This is done by your hearing care professional.

• Make sure that the tube and dome are kept free of earwax at all times to prevent your hearing aids from becoming plugged.

• 1. Use a soft dry cloth to clean the outside of the thin tube and dome.
  2. Remove the dome from the thin tube.
  3. Hold the adapter firmly and disconnect the thin tube connector from the hearing aid by pulling it off.
  4. Insert the cleaning wire into the tube. Push the wire all the way in the thin tube until it comes out through the other side and pull it out.
  5. Reattach the dome and thin tube connector to the hearing aid adapter by pushing the thin tube connector into the hearing aid adapter.

Hearing Aid Use

• Insertion Instructions
• 1. Have a battery inserted in the battery door
  2. Close the battery door
  3. Insert the hearing aid in your ear as shown in the instructions and video. Don't forget - RED is for the right ear and BLUE is for the left ear.
  4. Place the back of the hearing aid (Where the battery door is located) on top of your ear so that the wire hangs closer to the front of your face. Then pinch the wire and insert the dome into your ear canal.
• Removal Instructions
• 1. Pinch the end of the wire that leads into your ear canal
  2. Pull the dome free from your ear canal and remove the hearing aid from your ear
  3. Open the battery door to turn your hearing aid off
  4. Don't forget to turn off your hearing aid for the night and when not in use. It conserves battery life!

• Volume Control Instructions

• 1. Press the volume button on the back of your hearing aid to either raise or lower the volume
  2. Pressing the right or top volume button on your hearing aid increases the volume
  3. Pressing the left or lower volume button on your hearing aid lowers the volume

• Program Control Instructions

• 1. These programs are added by your hearing care professional
  2. Press the program button to change programs (The highest button on your hearing aids)
  3. Press the button again to go back to your default program (Depending on how many programs you have)
• Note: Opening and closing the battery door resets the hearing aids to their default settings

• Phone Use

• When receiving a call on your home phone you should raise the phone just above your ear as shown in the video.
• Please consult your hearing care professional if you are having difficulty hearing on the phone
• 1. Press the volume button on the back of your hearing aid to either raise or lower the volume
  2. Pressing the right or top volume button on your hearing aid increases the volume
  3. Pressing the left or lower volume button on your hearing aid lowers the volume

• Insertion Instructions

• 1. Have a battery inserted in the battery door
  2. Close the battery door
  3. Insert the hearing aid in your ear as shown in the instructions and video below
  4. Place the hearing aid in your ear with the Red/Blue writing facing away from you. You can twist the hearing aid slightly while you insert it. Make sure it fits nicely inside of your ear by pressing on it once more after you have inserted it.
• Note: Red is for the right ear. Blue is for the left ear.

• Removal Instructions

• 1. Grab the removal line that is connected to your hearing aid or grab the earmold
  2. Pull the earmold free from your ear
  3. Open the battery door to turn your hearing aid off
• Note: Turning off your hearing aid for the night and when not in use conserves battery life.

• Volume Control Instructions

• 1. Press the volume button on the face plate of your hearing aid to either raise or lower the volume.
  2. Pressing the right button on your hearing aid raises the volume.
  3. Pressing the left button on your hearing aid lowers the volume.
• Note: Red is for the right ear. Blue is for the left ear.

• Program Control Instructions

• 1. These programs are added by your hearing care professional.
  2. Press and hold the program button on the face plate of your hearing aid to change programs (the same button for the volume).
  3. Press and hold the button again to go back to your default program (depending on how many programs you have).

• Phone Use

• Removal Instructions

• 1. Grab the ear mold that is inserted in your ear.
  2. Pull the ear mold free from your ear and remove the hearing aid.
  3. Open the battery door to turn your hearing aid off.

• Phone Use
